Cons

The beeps emitted by the Bounty Hunter Quick Silver metal detector are fairly loud, and the volume is not adjustable. To minimize disturbance to people around you, headphones would be required.

One customer pointed out that this device works well on relatively clear areas, where you can sweep the ground freely, but not on as well on rugged terrain or ground overgrown with weeds. This seems to be a fairly unique case, however, as most other customers don’t actually use it in such terrain.
